Easter is almost here!! I have been so busy with my etsy shop (lots of weddings coming up this summer) that I have not had time to post any easter crafts yet. That just will not do. So I decided to make something really easy using items I already had in my house. I found this $1 frame from Michaels and was thinking it would be REALLY simple just to paint it and decorate it with craft paper. What do you know?! It turned out cute!! So here it is… my super duper easy $1 DIY easter frame.
You don’t need much for this project, just a frame, some craft paper, hot glue and clip art (if you don’t want to free hand your shapes).** I should mention that I had already painted this frame for a different project earlier so it is not included in my material list but it is something to do as an option. I spray painted it with cream colored spray paint.
EASY EASY EASY: Cut out shapes, glue them on. Make a little banner, glue it on. Put your picture in it, DONE.
I hope everyone has a WONDERFUL EASTER!! Get crafty with those eggs and eat lots of chocolate!!

Oohh! I LOVE Michael’s $1 frames! So many possibilities!
Perfect Easter frame and the banner is precious!

Looks great, Sonnet! I love easy, cheap projects … especially for holidays (since they’ll only be up for a tiny bit). Good news that the etsy biz is busy!!

Yes Katie, so so busy!! It has been amazing
I’m obsessed with those frames at Michaels for $1.00. I even saw that they have a new “fancy” square shape at Michaels the other day. It’s amazing what a little scrapbook paper can do to something. I love the Easter touch you gave to it.
