I am married to an Irishman who shares my love for classic rock and beer. He married me for his green card but decided I was pretty cool so he stuck around.
We have a 2 year old daughter Scarlett Emery who is funny, creative, headstrong and FEISTY. Her favorite food is Mac N Cheese and she wears her bowl hat whenever possible. I love her more then anything.
I was raised in Chico, CA by two amazing parents, John & Sue, who own a nut farm and Roney Wines.
I have an older sister who stole all the good genes and left me being chubby and pale. But I’m finally over it (35 years later) and we are besties now.
I always LOVED to sew, create, build, craft so I majored in fashion design. After college I headed to New York to intern at Betsey Johnson and was hired as her design assistant. My experience in New York thereafter includes designing for Marc Ecko and Managing Development at Nautica.
After 6 years in New York I moved back to California to work as a Product Developer at RipCurl, and now as a Development Manager at Stance Socks.
Now a shout out to my crew… these girls are my closest friends and help give me advice and topics for the blog. A mix of amazing women, mothers, career women, creatives and I am so thankful for them!
I started this blog as a creative outlet and a place to share all of the random cool things I was making and designing. I am so proud of how much it has grown and how many visitors I get everyday! At least 6K, wow…..
