Looking for a unique and fun toddler birthday party theme? This weekend my friend Dena threw an AMAZING party for her daughter Juliette and I just had to share on the blog. It was a Breakfast at Tiffany’s Birthday Party with tons of DIY crafts and details.
I designed the party invitation {available at my Etsy Print Shop) and the Tiffany’s inspired black dress picture of Juliette turned out perfect for the invitation! Dena bought that dress on etsy from Its A Girl Thing Shoppe. Adorable!
I took pictures of all of the details hoping that I might be able to pass along Dena’s ideas and inspire other people.
On the breakfast menu was mini blueberry muffins, fruit kabobs, Diamond Donut rings, silver dollar pancakes and the kids had fruit and yogurt cups, squeeze pouches and of course there were cupcakes for everyone!
I actually helped with this craft. We had a girls night at Dena’s house and we strung the marshmallow “pearl” necklaces. Very simple, just needle and thread pulled through marshmallows. Scarlett loved eating hers!
Girls night! I love doing crafts while drinking wine.
The refreshment bar turned out really cute. Dena already had this hutch in her kitchen, she just cleaned it off and moved it outside for the drinks. The blue punch is actually blueberry flavored sparkling water. The “Drinks” banner is make out of scrapbooking paper, you can visit the tutorial here.
These little plastic mason car cups were ordered from The Party Fairy on Etsy, great site! Tons of awesome party favors and details. They are meant for older kids but Dena put plastic over the top and then screwed the lid on, stuck the straw through the plastic to prevent the little ones from dumping water everywhere. Smart girl.
What is a party these days without a DIY photbooth!? The background is made from dollar store wrapping paper. Juliette helped her paint the props which turned out to be lots of fun for Juliette and a bit of a mess for Dena. Picture below lol..
Easy way to spruce up the party, use mason jars as decor! These are the plastic ones you can find at the party store.
The Happy Birthday Juliette banner is make out of scrapbooking paper, you can visit the tutorial here. I love the J initial made out of pictures from Julettes 2 years, starting with her as a baby at the top and progressing down as she gets older.
Do you have artwork or decor in your house that does not match the theme of the party? Simply wrap it up like a birthday present! Fabulous idea
I think Juliette, the birthday girl, had a great day! She was not interested in the cupcake but loved the singing. Dena put a banner that said TWO around her high chair which was really cute for pictures.
My little Scarlett pretty much bounced the whole time. She LOVED the bounce house. I like the small size of this bounce house. The bigger the house the more crazy it gets.
Didn’t Dena do a fabulous job?!! It was a really an AWESOME party. Scarlett and I had tons of fun, here are a couple pictures of us from the day. I hope this post might have given you some ideas for your next birthday party.
