It’s tough to find nice, affordable party favors for baby birthday parties. Most typical plastic favors are choking hazards and candy is obviously out of the question. As I was doing my usual Saturday morning cruise through Target I saw the pink puffs and pink yogurt melts and realized they would be perfect. I also made wands which I did not realize would be such a hit, these should be passed out at every kids party, check out the wand tutorial by clicking HERE! For the adults I had a mini candy bar, just a few jars and some small tissue bags to fill. I did not take pictures of the favor making but it’s super simple (put puffs and melts in bag
Below are the simple instructions for DIY baby birthday party favors, ideal for 1st or 2nd birthday party.
Materials: Favor Bags, DIY Gift tags, Baby Puffs and Yogurt Melts,
1. Print out favor stickers, you can use my free printable found HERE made for avery oval stickers or you can design your own on the avery website. Or just print on regular paper and glue to gift tags if you don’t want to buy stickers.
2. Detailed DIY gift tag tutorial can be found by clicking HERE. Straight forward instructions- cut scrapbook cardstock paper into rectangles (or any shape you want) and hole punch or eyelet a hole in the top, loop thread through then add sticker to the front or back depending on how you want them to look.
3. Fill the favor bags with baby puffs and yogurt melts. I put in 3/4 puffs and 1/4 yogurt melts on the top since there are a lot less melts in the package. Then tie off the bag and add your gift tag. DONE!
Very easy and turned out cute!
