Yesterday I posted a tutorial showing how to make a DIY St. Patrick’s Day Tutu Dress Outfit for my daughter Scarlett. The same day my friend LeeAnn made this adorable outfit. I couldn’t wait to share it with you! Scroll down and check out this super easy DIY {No Sew} St. Patrick’s Day Bow Tie Onesie for Boys.
This onesie took less then 15minutes to make. So when I say easy… I mean EASY.
MATERIALS: Onesie, Fabric, Hot Glue, Scissors, velcro (optional)
Bowtie:
1) Cut a bow tie shape out of something sturdy. LeeAnn used a paper plate that we were using to set our hot glue gun on (she is very resourceful!).
2) Then use it as a stencil and cut out the fabric in the same shape of a bow tie.
3) Next glue the fabric on top of the sturdy paper bow tie and decorate with foam shamrocks or anything that you want.
4) Velcro the bow tie onto the onesie or hot glue it on if you dont have velcro.
Suspenders:
1) Cut two long strips of fabric for the suspenders and hot glue them onto the onesie. SO EASY.
2) For the top edges you can hide them under the folds of the onesie. For the bottom of the suspenders LeeAnn simply cut them at an angle with the seam
Pretty darn easy right? Just some fabric and some hot glue makes you this adorable boys onesie. Happy Early St. Patrick’s Day!!

Boy stuff … Now we’re talking! I just cleaned out the boys’ dresser and found some 24 month onsies this morning. I didn’t even know they made that size (or that I owned some). Hmm… Think I can convince Charlie to wear one with a new sew bow tie?!? I have the perfect fabric, too!!

That St. Patrick’s Day onesie is adorable! Now, only if I had tiny little boy to make it for! Too cute!
This would look great on my boys, they are bigger but I think I could try this out on a t-shirt instead of a onsie! Get tutorial on how to make it, I think even I could do it.
