Are you crafty? Do you love pinterest? Take the April PINTEREST CHALLENGE !! I have received a lot of great submissions and ideas so far. It has been SO MUCH FUN seeing all of the projects and getting to know new people. So sorry I was not able to post last week….. Easter vacation + a large amount of SohoSonnet Etsy orders kept me from doing much blogging. I am excited to finally get back into the swing of things and post up the submissions I have received during weeks 2 and 3! If you would like to participate there are only 3 days left….. click below image for the details and rules {my original post}. Happy pinning!
Here are Week #2 and Week #3 submissions….
Jodie from Sypsie Designs made this DIY Succulent Jar using sharpie pens. She was inspired by this Living Well Spending Less Pin
My good friend Valerie brought over these Cook Nests to my Easter Brunch, we was inspired by this recipe pin from Mandys Recipe Blox Blog . Aren’t they cute? Tip: undercook them… these ones were just a tad on the hard side…. (I still ate one despite Val’s warnings 🙂
My friend Katie is part of an amazing group of crafting women that get together once a month and make really awesome stuff. Last month they made these painted antlers inspired by this Pin on Pinterest, They also made those Gem Shaped Thumbtacks… I need to get the tutorial for those, they are amazing.
Mary Karas sent me some really amazing paper flowers that she made. The first one was inspired by a music note flower pinned from Whimsical Perspective
The second flower that Mary made was inspired by this Etsy listing that was pinned on pinterest
Bonnie Brewer is a pinterest master, you can check out tons of amazing projects she has done on her blog The Pin Junkie. I posted some of her projects during week 1 and am following up with a few more. This is a Bathroom Makeover Reveal she did inspired by MANY pins on pinterest, she used a lot of them so I am attaching her pinterest bathroom inspiration board.
Here is another one from Bonnie of The Pin Junkie. She revealed her Laundry Room Makeover here and was inspired by a pin from Amazon.com product gallery.
I love these DIY Felt succulents from Bonnie at the The Pin Junkie. I have been seeing them more and more lately! She was inspired by this post created by Shaken Together Life
Last submission from the amazing Bonnie is this Chocolate Butterfly Cake. She got the idea from We Lived Happily Ever After’s pin. I LOVE how this turned out and they both make it look easy and fun to do!
Tela Maxon, blogger at Sweet Southern T shared her DIY Pallet Pet Bed with us. Such a cute idea! She was inspired by a Pin from Shelterness. I think every pet should have their own little palette bed…. love!
Ragina Gupta of Gins Desk made a beautiful paper flower wreath inspired by a pin from Love Pomegranate House . I really love the colors that she picked!
Ragina Gupta of Gins Desk also submitted this DIY Snowflake decor, it is not yet posted on her blog but will be this winter 🙂 She was inspired by Love This Pic Dot Com on tumbler
My friend Sarah Townsend made these mercury glass jars and vases inspired by Living Well Spending Less post. Such a good idea to do the small jars under the TV. Our TV is set above the mantel just like Sarah’s and I don’t have anything under it, these would be cute!
Sarah also made these No Sew Burlap Curtains…. great for those who don’t know how to sew or simply don’t want to! She was inspired by Our Home Sweet Home Pin. Btw.. I’m loving her little picture tree she has, Im guessing that is another DIY project?!
Another friend of mine Dena Darroch, made this wall artwork inspired by a pin she found on pinterest. She recently updated her entire living room with accents of grey, white bright turq and yellow… these wall hangings look GREAT and tie everything together. She upcycled a couple old art canvases she was given, gotta love a freebie.
Dena also made these awesome treats for my Easter brunch inspired by pinterest! The Dirt Mousse pin is from Kidzui blog and the bunny watermelon was uploaded by user
