This garden frame garland Christmas tree is such an easy way to add a little bling to your living room and it was super easy to make. Anyone who saw my previous post on felt Christmas tree for Scarlett knows that I wanted to have a homemade crafty tree just for her. Unfortunately my husband was a) not keen on the idea of storing a construction cone in the garage all year and b) not a fan of me stealing construction cones from work sites with Scarlett in the car (so if I was by myself it would be ok?!). So I found this awesome idea from Tinysidekick Garland Tree Tutorial and was thrilled that I already had a garden frame and garland. Free mini tree! Scarlett had tons of fun helping me put this tree together as well. I would recommend using a frame like the one Tinysidekick used if you are buying one since mine was not really evenly proportioned. Oh well, it was free. Grows my tomatos in summer and acts as a toddler mini Christmas tree in winter. Sweeeeeeet.
Enjoy!
Materials Needed: Garden Frame, 6 Spools of Garland minimum (Dollar Store!), tape
First start out with a garden frame. Tie on your garland at the top and start wrapping. Not too tight, not too loose. I twisted the garland around the rings to cover them up the best since they want to protrude out.
Scarlett LOVES this tree. She had tons of fun decorating it. As usual we had to teach her over and over that after the ornament goes on the tree it has to stay there. It’s a work in progress but she is really good about it, we are pretty lucky.
So meanwhile, as I’m moving the tree to the living room I come back to find this happening…. sheesh. *No toddlers were hurt in the making of this blog post*
And here is the final tree! So cute. If you like this tree you might also like the Construction Cone Felt Tree Post I did previously.

I love this and love that you had all the supplies so it was free! What a fun toddler activity that I’m sure will keep her very busy. (And I’m loving the toddler bowling too…we play that regularly around here
Thanks for sharing!
